A little girl waters a plant as seen by parent's perspective.

I love those special fleeting moments unique to a parent’s perspective. This painting is in memory of one of those moments. At first, I was a little frustrated because at the time, I was a single parent and had nobody to share the moments with. This painting, however, has permitted me to share this particular moment with many people. I walked into the room and there she was up under the potted palm. She made it look like a palm tree. She had precariously filled my porcelain picture with tap water and was struggling to pour it into the thirsty plant. I am sure the little palm was grateful, as I had neglected to water it. Only a parent can know how precious such simple things are.
