Spots of filtered sunlight hit a portion of High Falls

High Falls is almost too amazing to capture with a camera, it needs to be experienced in person. I enjoyed the somewhat difficult hike from the trail up river, hearing the falls long before it came into view. There is a breathtaking view of it from a distance, with a covered bridge across the top, but the best views are when you take a small twisting trail down to the base of it. A fly fisherman methodically cast again and again in the rushing waters beneath the falls and a couple cozied up on a rock near the thunderous display. Every angle was truly a sight to behold!
