Does Polly wanna cracker, or does Polly wanna coconut? In town, there’s a place at the water’s edge where people come to relax, have some fresh seafood and hear a local band. It’s open late, the price is right, and the view is great. Your table is waiting … It’s a little hard to get to because the roads are rough and unmarked, but well worth the effort. There’s not much there but this old pier and a lot of peace and quiet. Let the sounds of the rustling palm fronds soothe your soul as you relax into island time. Here’s life as it should be: slower and more relaxed. A place where you can leave the world behind an catch up with yourself and rediscover the simpler, more natural rhythms of life. The idea for this picture came as much from the name as anything else. It just sounds like a neat place to go to. It is a scene that invites you into a quiet secluded place by a sheltered lagoon where the water is always calm and clear. The sounds of the waves and the bananaquits in the branches are your only companions.
